A leak from Weibo claimed that the manga was written and illustrated by Masakazu Ishiguro, Tengoku Daimakyou (Heavenly madness), will have an anime adaptation produced by the studios Production IG. The leak did not reveal a planned release date and it should be noted that there is no official confirmation yet.

Tengoku Daimakyou

It should be noted that an animated promotional video has already been produced and released in July 2018:

Ishiguro started publishing the manga through the magazine Monthly Afternoon from the publisher Kodansha in January 2018. The publisher released the seventh anthology in March 2022, while Ishiguro is also the author of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (And yet the city moves), which already had an anime adaptation.

Summary of Tengoku Daimakyou

Within the safety of the walls, little ones are raised in a robotic kindergarten environment. Even if life there may seem boring on the surface, the children are full of potential and curiosity. In many ways it’s like a slice of heaven. The outside world is hell. There is almost nothing mechanical and it is inhabited by strange and powerful supernatural beings. Maru is out there with the help of Kiruko, traversing what was once Tokyo through the skies. But after such a long search, Heaven may be more of an untenable dream than a potential reality.
