A few days ago we reported on our website about the beautiful quote from Deku in the poster of the new film My Hero Academia, in which he seems to imitate the WWE star’s iconic “You can’t see me” gesture John Cena. Today the wrestler decided to pay homage to the anime of Horikoshi. Share the poster on your Instagram profile.

Unfortunately, the American actor only publishes silent posts, so he did not explicitly comment on the meme in question, but being able to appear on the Instagram profile of an international star (who currently has around 15 million followers) is by no means small feat. For My Hero Academia, this isn’t even the first quote of its kind. Given that the series didn’t start getting more freebies from US VIPs until later in 2020, including Katy Perry and Meghan Thee Stallion.

The third My Hero Academia film premieres this summer to mark the airing of the anime’s fifth season. The film is eagerly awaited in the West, where revenues from the last film were roughly the same as in Japan. For the moment It is not yet clear whether or not the events of the new function will be canonical.

What do you think about it? Happy with the success of the series? Let us know with a comment!
