Just moments ago, the guys at Studio Bones confirmed that My Hero Academia 5 will temporarily skip the next saga, commonly called it My villain Academia Arc, and which will jump right into the Endeavor Agency storyline. The anime will then reverse the next two sagas, with Re-Destro & Co ready to return in the latter part of the season.

To this day, the anime from My Hero Academia slavishly follows the story written by Kohei Horikoshi, without any variations. Some time ago, however the study confirmed that the series will temporarily skip chapters 218-240, probably with the intention of salvaging them for effective closure at the end of the season. The anime then adjusts chapters 241 and 242 in episode 13 and continues until the adaptation of chapter 252.

In simple terms, This means that the anime will jump 23 chapters forward and will adapt the Endeavor Agency story arc directly, then introduce Re-Destro and tell the rest of the story in the final part of the season. The Endeavor Agency saga is fairly short and will likely last three or four episodes, so the My Villain Academia arc should return around episode 17/18.

And what do you think of this jump? Does that sound like a good idea? Tell us in the comments! In the meantime, we greet you and leave our final study on My Hero Academia 5×12.
