A leak from Weibo claimed that the manga was written and illustrated by Yuut Suzuki, Sakamoto daysThere will be an anime adaptation. The leak didn't reveal any production details or a planned release date, and it should be noted that confirmation is pending.

Sakamoto days

Yuuto Suzuki began publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly shōnen jump from the publisher shueisha in November 2020. The publisher released the seventh anthology on June 3 and will release the eighth in Japan on August 4. Suzuki is also the author of other one-shot works such as changing room Y Garaku. As a matter of fact, Sakamoto days comes from a one-shot he published in 2019, making it his first manga in series.

Summary of Sakamoto Days

Tarou Sakamoto was considered the greatest killer of all time. Feared by many, he was at the forefront of the underground world until he met and fell in love with a woman. As a result, Sakamoto gave up his life of crime and now works as a salesman. Leaving his dark past behind proves to be more difficult than Sakamoto initially thought. Many of his former rivals and associates don't believe he's truly out of business and show up hoping to bring him down. Banned from killing, Sakamoto must find creative ways to subdue his enemies and stop them from harming his family, his business, and the small town he lives in.
