If the Marvel Comics announced in March that it would publish a special series of five special volumes by the end of the year Ultraman Fans of the Japanese pop icon were immediately enthusiastic. I was really impressed by Tokusatsu and especially Ultraman with its special inspirations and different conventions. It’s a mature genre that has a lot of possibilities, even compared to what we think of a superhero story. It is both an honor and a privilege to bring Ultraman to Marvel. “
The groom also wanted to express his relationship with this genre: βThe monsters in fictional stories have always depicted everything dark and sinister in our world.
