Fans didn't have time to enjoy Kaguya-sama's new OAV ecchi: love is war, bad news related to the manga. In fact, Aka Akasaka will be taking quite a long hiatus from the comic's release.

On Weekly Young Jump number 27, published Thursday, May 27, 2021, and on chapter 228 of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, it was announced at an important stage in its history that the manga would not be available for four numbers is published. This means a one month break for Kaguya-sama: Love is War that will return on July 1, 2021, in issue 32 of the magazine.

Apparently the mangaka has revealed that this pause will be of fundamental importance for him as he plans and structures the next narrative arc of the work. One should remember that Kaguya-sama: Love is war has entered the final phase from its publication and therefore there are many subplots that need to be resolved.

Readers must apologize, however, over the announcement that Kaguya-sama: Love is War had entered a different, albeit shorter, hiatus in April and May. The However, Mangaka will continue to work on Oshi no Ko, another weekly series that is always published on Weekly Young Jump, for which he takes care of the script and which is already doing well in terms of sales and criticism.
