The platform Netflix released a promotional video for the animation project based on the franchise of League of Legendstitled Arcane. The press release also reported that the platform's premiere is scheduled for the next Fall 2021 season (October-December) without specifying a specific date.

Arcane, on the other hand, is an animated series (it is not classified as "Anime" as it is produced in the US) that was announced during the video game's 10th anniversary. League of Legends. It is developed and produced by Riot games, with the animation production of Fortiche Productions.

The premiere was originally scheduled for 2020 but has been delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on production. The story takes place in the past and tells the origin stories of several Piltover and Zaun characters. Like the Eleague game it is based on, the animated series is rated "14+" which indicates that it deals with adult themes.
