On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Kouji Kumeta, KakushigotoThe third compiled Blu-ray / DVD volume has been reported to accumulate a total of 1,762 units sold less than a week after its release.

The volume was released in Japan on August 28th, contains episodes 9 through 12 and costs 13,000 yen plus tax in its Blu-ray version and 10,800 yen plus tax in its DVD version. The shipment totaled 1,397 Blu-ray drives and 365 DVD drives sold.

The series has aired since April 2, and had a total of twelve episodes ending today. For his part, Kumeta published the manga in the magazine Monthly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha from November 2015 to July 2020. On July 17, the publisher published the twelfth and final compilation volume.

Kakushigoto Synopsis

The focus of the comedy manga is Kakushi Goto, who doesn't want his daughter, Hime Goto, to find out he's a grown-up manga writer. The story focuses on the family's daily life and the comical situations that the secret brings with it.
