On the official site for the anime adaptation of the spin-off manga written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Katsura Saiki, Kakegurui twinthe first promotional video for the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for August 4 on the platform's global catalogue Netflix.

Kawamoto and Saiki began publishing the spin-off manga in the magazine. Monthly Gangan Joker from the publisher Square Enix in September 2015. On the other hand, the main manga is written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Tooru Naomuraand has been published in the same journal since March 2014. This manga inspired a two-season anime adaptation produced by Studios MAP and premiered in July 2017 and January 2019, amassing a total of twenty-four episodes to date. Live-action adaptations in feature film and series format have also been produced.
