During the last Netflix Geeked Week it was announced Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre, an anime dedicated to the stories of Junji Ito, the master of horror manga. Junji Ito madman will debut on Netflix in 2023, underscoring once again how much the US streaming platform is hinting at anime.
Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre will adapt several of the author’s stories in 20 episodes, from the most popular to the lesser known. In addition to the already announced adjustments of Tomie, Soichie The hanging balloonsthree of Junji Ito’s most popular stories.

The Eisner Awards, named after Will Eisner, considered the father of graphic novels, is a series of awards given to comic artists who manage to achieve tremendous results in the industry.
