DC Comics revealed the new logo that will appear on the covers of the main magazine starting with Batman #125 dedicated to the dark knight. Beginning with issue 125, the Batman comic series welcomes Chip Zdarsky as a new screenwriter, along with artist Jorge JimΓ©nez.
As can be seen from the image posted below, The most recent redesign of the Batman logo was made to coincide with the relaunch of I Nuovi 52 2011, although the logo was already retouched last year from number 106. In any case, the essential difference is represented by theiconic bat-shaped logo no longer surrounding the logobut appears in it.
The release of Batman #125, next July, will start the ad a six-part storyline titled “Failsafe”which will introduce an enemy defined by Zdarsky as “Batman’s Doomsday”.
“In recent years we’ve seen Batman a lot on his own, with many (many) Robins, etc. in his orbit“said Zdarsky.”I wanted to emphasize the Batman & Robin aspect of these characters while maintaining a dark style. Tim Drake is one of my favorite characters and the opportunity to celebrate him made me happy“.
Batman #125 is out on July 5th. Meanwhile, the Dark Knight continues his race at the box office: The Batman film has surpassed the 700 million mark.
