In the last chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen Kinji Hakari had the opportunity to show what he's worth as a magician. Despite possessing one of the most advantageous techniques of the series, Hakari still seems to have found an opponent on his level with his appearance in Hajime Kashimo's second Tokyo colony.

Apart from the fact that he is one of the very few competitors who has already reached and exceeded the 100 point mark culling game, and thus one of the targets of Yuji's team, Kashimo proves to be one of the most experienced strategists in Akutami's work. Countering a power like Hakari's that grants him invincibility for more than four minutes seems like an impossible mission.

Fueled by fun but also a desire to prove he's the best, Kashimo tried everything Chapter 189, now available in Manga Plus. After suffering a potentially fatal blow, Hakari was able to activate his domain's expansion and obtain a hidden jackpot, allowing him to instantly heal himself. An unexpected movement, like the movement across the ocean, located on the outskirts of Tokyo's second colony.

The decision is clear: Hakari wants to use the water for his benefit to discharge Kashimo's cursed energy. After understanding the opponent's intentions, Kashimo uses cursed spirits to avoid touching the water's surface.
