Hirohiko Araki's break is about to end. The mangaka has been working on it for a while Part 9 of Jojo's bizarre adventurewhich has been announced for more than a year and which will only now officially see the light of day thanks to the publication of the first chapter in the magazine Sein Ultra Jump, scheduled for February 19, 2023 in Japan.

The name has been official for some time: JOJO countries, with the name Jojo again in the title, as in Jojolion. There is very little to do at the moment as the protagonist of JOJOLands finally officially revealed in full color and who will also end up on the cover of the magazine to promote the first chapter. But there are also doubts about where the series will be set.

There has been much debate about the JOJOLands setting, with fans relying on the images and phrases written in the various previews to contemplate possible locations. However, the main clue seems to be coming from Harajuku, one of the areas in Tokyo where posters were put up in the main station to promote the manga's release. Among these posters, one detail stands out, which you can see enlarged below.

According to this enthusiast who noticed the detail, the badge that a character has is very similar to that of a specific archipelago. After this reconstruction JOJOLands is set in Hawaii, so Hirohiko Araki would return to the United States of America after Stone Ocean and Steel Ball Run. Obviously it is necessary to wait for the first chapter for official status since the archipelago could be different from what we know. But do you want it as a setting?
