On the official page for the animated adaptation of the light novels Isekai Maou after Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu (How not to summon a demon lord), the first cover and details of the second compilation Blu-ray package for the second season were revealed.

This second volume will be released on July 30th in Japan and includes the fourth through seventh episodes of this second season. It will cost 9,900 yen (about $ 95) and benefits include an original short novel by the author and part of the soundtrack.

This second season, officially titled as Isekai Maou after Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei MajutsuIt has been airing in Japan since April 8, 2021 and has been confirmed with ten episodes while the platform Crispy roll is responsible for sales for Latin America. On the other hand, the first season with twelve episodes was produced by the studios Ajia-do Animation Works and was released in July 2018.

Production team

  • Satoshi Kuwabara (Dagashi Kashi 2, black jack) is responsible for directing this second season in the studios Tezuka Productions in collaboration with studios Okuruto Noboru, replace Yuuta Murano is already studying Ajia-do Animation Works.
  • Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black clover, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, Ishuzoku reviewers) returns from the first season to take over the writing and maintenance of the scripts.
  • Shizue Kaneko (Adachi to Shimamura, Kanojo ga flag wo Oraretara, Hana wa Saku) returns from season one to take on character design.

Synopsis from Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu

Takuma Sakamoto is a Hikkikomori player who is mysteriously transported into the virtual world of the game "Cross Reverie" with the appearance of his character, the demon lord Diablo. The two girls who called him, Rem and Shera, try to make him their servant with a spell, but Diablo's reflection magic reverses the spell and they become his slaves. Due to severe social anxiety, Diablo decides to act and interact with others as his character without revealing his ridiculously high stats and extensive knowledge of the world.
