Last December, the Japanese site PROPLICA unveiled the first 1: 1 replica of Kirito’s sword in Sword Art Online: Alicization, the so-called Night sky sword. The sword sold out within a few hours and after the success of the SAO themed products, the company decided to hit the market another splendid replica available from June 11th
Below you can see Eugeo’s “Sword of the Blue Rose”, 100 cm long and designed under the direction of the staff at Sword Art Online: Alicization and War of Underworld. The replica is very true to the original and as you can see in the video above in the article, it is even possible to push a button to hear Eugeo’s voice.
The cost of the fake sword is “only” 11,000 yen (approx. € 82.50), an absolutely acceptable price for the average price of products of this kind. Premium Bandai and Aniplex currently only accept pre-orders from Japan and will ship the replica from November. A possible sales success could also bring the sword to the West, one case has already occurred with Kirito’s weapon.
