The latter, bored with the trial in the swamp, will decide to take sides against the aspiring hunters to help the judges.
Hisoka manages to exterminate most of the aspirants but leaves Gon, Leorio, Killua, and Kurapika alive. The three then advance to the next test, which focuses primarily on the kitchen: the examiner Buhara before and Menchi but then they are not satisfied by the participants who have to face a substitute test to pass.
After passing the Replacement Test with ease, Gon, Leorio, Kurapika, and Killua reach the Tower’s Test, which requires them to arrive at the base of the Trabocchetto Tower within 72 hours from the top.
