Synopsis for Grisaia: Phantom Trigger
After the incident in Heath Oslo, the existence of the American-Japanese anti-terrorist organization CIRS became public knowledge. CIRS was rebuilt from the ground up and its most secret functions were given to a new agency: SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development). SORD’s goal is to train a new generation of agents to protect the country from future threats. To this end, the organization has established a number of schools across the country. Mihama Academy, which was more or less abandoned after its abrupt closure, has been given a new purpose as one of those “specialized training schools”.
This new incarnation of Mihama Academy welcomes a diverse group of students who work every day to hone their unusual skills, sometimes at work. Mihama now entrusts guns and live ammunition to the misfit girls who accompany her. Regardless of their own safety, these students are repeatedly dragged into dangerous extrajudicial missions, all for the good of the kingdom.
