Oregairu’s third season tops 10,000 copies sold on his first Blu-ray / DVD

On the official page for the anime adaptation of light novels by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8, Yahari Ore no Seishun love comedy wa Machigatteiru (also known as Oregairu) it was reported that Season 3's first Blu-ray / DVD compilation volume collected 10,694 copies sold in the first four days.

The volume was released on September 25th in Japan and contains episodes 1 and 2 of this third season. The Blu-ray version was released at a price of 8,580 yen (about $ 82) and sold 9,194 copies, while the DVD version was released at a price of 7,480 yen (about $ 72) and sold 1,500 copies .

The series premiered on July 9th in Japan and had a total of twelve episodes. Watari began publishing the light novels from Oregairu with illustrations by Ponkan8 in 2011. The series ended with the fourteenth volume, which was published in November 2019.

The official title of this third season is Yahari Ore no Seishun love comedy wa Machigatteiru: Kan. Kei oikawa is responsible for directing the anime in the studios feelingwhile Keiichirou Ohchi is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts. Yuichi Tanaka is responsible for the character design.

Synopsis of Oregairu

The romantic comedy revolves around a rather unsocial student named Hachiman Hikigaya, who has a distorted outlook on life, other than having no friends, let alone a girlfriend. Seeing his classmates happily talking about their teenage lives, he mumbles that they're all a bunch of liars. When asked about your dreams for the future, your answer is "No work." However, a teacher manages to enroll Hachiman in the volunteer club, in which it turns out that the most beautiful girl in the institute, Yukino Yukinoshita, is also enrolled.
