The film production team GRIDMAN UNIVERSE unveiled a new promotional video, visuals and more members of the project's voice cast. The video shows a fragment of the main musical theme entitled “universe“ and performed by Masayoshi ooishiand announce this Daiki Hamano joins the voice as a character Rex.

The film retains its scheduled March 24 premiere in theaters in Japan and is described as a project that will bring the franchise's universes together SSSS.GRIDMAN And SSSS.DYNAZENONstudio-produced projects DEDUCTION.

the original series SSSS.GRIDMAN aired during the season Fall-2018 (October-December) and had a total of twelve episodes, and it was followed by the series SSSS.DYNAZENONwhich aired during the season Spring 2021 (April-June), with twelve episodes. The entire project is based on a tokusatsu series (a name that refers to any Japanese live-action series that uses absurd special effects) that aired between 1993 and 1994.

SSSS.GRIDMAN Summary

Yuuta Hibiki wakes up in Rikka Takarada's room and realizes two things: he has no memories, and he can hear a mysterious voice calling his name from a nearby room. On closer inspection, he finds a robot behind an old computer screen that introduces itself as Hyperagent Gridman. To Yuuta's surprise, Rikka cannot hear Gridman, nor can she see the ominous monsters appearing above a dense fog that envelops the city from the outside.

Another huge monster materializes in the city and wreaks havoc. Amidst the confusion, Yuuta is drawn back to the old computer and merged with Gridman. Suddenly he appears in the middle of the fight and has to fight the monster. Along with Rikka and his partner Shou Utsumi, Yuuta forms the "Gridman Alliance" to defeat the monsters plaguing the city and find whoever is responsible for their appearance.
