On the official site for the next joint project of the franchises SSSS.GRIDMAN Y SSSS.DYNAZENON A new promotional image for the feature film has been released GRIDMAN UNIVERSE, which confirms that the premiere is scheduled for 2023 in theaters in Japan. The artwork was created by yuta hibikiwho is responsible for character design.

GRIDMAN UNIVERSE

The series SSSS.DYNAZENON aired in Japan during the season Spring 2021 (April-June)reckon with twelve episodes and with entertainment responsible for its spread in the west and a spiritual sequel to the original anime SSSS.GRIDMANwhich is based on a tokusatsu series (a name referring to any Japanese live-action series that makes absurd use of special effects) that aired between 1993 and 1994. The series was produced in collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions and study Deduction.

SSSS.GRIDMAN Summary

Yuuta Hibiki wakes up in Rikka Takarada's room and realizes two things: he has no memories, and he can hear a mysterious voice calling his name from a nearby room. On closer inspection, he finds a robot behind an old computer screen that introduces itself as Hyperagent Gridman. To Yuuta's surprise, Rikka cannot hear Gridman, nor can she see the ominous monsters appearing above a dense fog that envelops the city outside.

Another huge monster materializes in the city and wreaks havoc. Amidst the confusion, Yuuta is drawn back to the old computer and merged with Gridman. Suddenly he appears in the middle of the fight and has to fight the monster. Along with Rikka and her partner Shou Utsumi, Yuuta forms the "Gridman Alliance" to defeat the monsters plaguing the city and find whoever is responsible for their appearance.
