On the official site for the animated adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Negi Haruba, Gotoubun no Hanayome ((The quintessence of the quintuplets) the information on the musical themes of the second season was revealed, officially titled as Gotoubun no Hanayome ∬. The announcement included a preview of the opening theme.
- The opening theme is entitled “Gotoubun no Katachi (Five equal parts) ”And is played by the lead voice.
- The final topic is entitled “Hatsukoi (difficulty) ”And is also played by the main voice.
The series is slated to premiere in Japan on January 7, 2021, and a recent leak would have confirmed that there will be twelve episodes in total. The premiere was planned for October this year. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on production, the premiere has been postponed until January 2021.
For his part, Haruba published the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha between August 2017 and February 2020. The publisher has compiled the work in a total of fourteen volumes and broadcast the first season in January 2019 in Japan. The manga has been published again in color in volume format since April 2020 and recently passed 13.5 million copies in circulation.
