During a special event held this Sunday for the franchise based on the manga written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi, GintamaIt was revealed that the series of novels was written by tomohito osaki and inspired by the original work, Ginpachi, the teacher of Class 3-Z (3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-Sensei), will have an anime adaptation produced by the studios Images by Bandai Namco. More details and the release date will be announced shortly.

With this announcement, the first promotional video for the project was also released, where we can hear the voice actor. Tomokazu sugita (voiced by Gintoki Sakata in the original anime), who voices the character Ginpachi Sakata.

This new series will be part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Gintama franchise. It is worth remembering that the original manga was first published in December 2003.

The novels Ginpachi, the teacher of Class 3-Z They began publishing in 2006 as a spin-off that gave the franchise's characters a slightly different role. The Shueisha publishing house published the seventh and final volume of this literary series in 2018.
