Apparently, after Castlevania and Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a new animated series inspired by the world of video games is on the way. It’s about PlayerUnknown’s battlefields, better known as PUBG.
The official announcement has already been made by Adi Shankar the person in charge of Castlevania has arrived on Netflix. The work will have the full support of Krafton Inc., the software house that brought the video game to life, one of the main rivals of the hugely popular Fortnite.
“As a gamer, I’ve beaten the competition since PUBG was released in 2017. I’m grateful to Krafton for the trust they’ve placed in me to help me realize my vision as a director. I’m really excited to embark on this journey together.“said Shankar.
“For me, this animated project is another step in the link between the video game industry and Hollywood. I can’t wait to show everyone what Winner Winner Chiken Dinner is.” For those who do not know the meaning of these words, it is the phrase that appears in the Moment of victory.
Currently from the PUBG animation series nothing is known yet, except that the direction was actually entrusted to Adi Shankar, the Castlevania showrunner. Here’s our review of Castlevania 4.
