Uzumaki Anime will be delayed until 2021

Through a live broadcast of the station Adult swimIt turned out that the animated adaptation for the manga was written and illustrated by Junji Ito, Uzumaki, will postpone its premiere until 2021. The series should premiere this year.

Synopsis of Uzumaki

In the village of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie Goshima lives a relatively normal life with her family. However, one day when she went to the train station to meet her friend Shuuichi Saito, she found that her father was staring at the snail shell in an alley. Without giving much value, Kirie Shuuichi tells the situation to which he replies that his father also behaved very strangely.

Shuuichi also reveals his desire to flee the village with Kirie, claiming that people are obsessed with spirals. But her father's obsession will soon become fatal, triggering a chain of terrible and inexplicable events.
