Via the official channel on YouTube for the project Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlightthe first trailer was released to promote the new film in the franchise. The video announces that the film will be released in 2021 and that its production will be in charge of the studios Kinema Citrus. This trailer also served as the post-credits scene for the compilation film. Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight: Rondo Rondo Rondo which was released in cinemas in Japan last Friday.
A new advertising poster for the film was also revealed.

Bushiroad officially announced the franchise in April 2017 with a music and animation project. The musical with the title Shoujo β Kageki Revue Starlight Das LIVE It was released in Tokyo in September 2017 and called a "2.5-dimensional live musical". The twelve-episode anime series premiered in July 2018.
Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight Synopsis
The story revolves around "Starlight", the most famous and popular show in the world. Karen and Hikari promised when they were children that they would one day perform on this stage together. Time goes by and now you are sixteen years old. Karen keeps up her excitement every day and keeps the promise with all her might while Hikari has been transferred and is now separated from Karen.
But the gears of fate fit together and the two meet again. You and other girls will compete in a mysterious selection process to win their participation in the event.
