On the official page for the original anime Fighting spirits: Kakumei no Galette A new promotional video of the project has been released.
The site also posted a new promotional image. In addition, the first episode will be released on August 28th.
The franchise started with a two player trading card game developed by Bandai and sunrisewho later began to inspire a variety of spin-off series, manga and anime adaptations, and other merchandise such as toys and video games.
The card game was released in Japan in September 2008 and quickly became one of the best-selling card games that year. Its popularity made it easy to get started in the United States Bandai of America in August 2009. However, due to poor advertising and an equally poor translation from Japanese to English, only five sets of cards were published.
