On the official site for the animated adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, Eden’s ZeroIt has been confirmed that the project will contain a total of 25 episodes in a total of eight Blu-ray / DVD compilation packages. The statement also revealed the launch plan:

  • Package 1 (episodes 1-3) – August 4, 2021.
  • Package 2 (episodes 4 to 6) – September 8th, 2021.
  • Package 3 (episodes 7 to 9) – October 6, 2021.
  • Package 4 (episodes 10-12) – November 3, 2021.
  • Package 5 (episodes 13-16) – December 1, 2022.
  • Package 6 (episodes 17-19) – January 12, 2022.
  • Package 7 (episodes 20-22) – February 2, 2022.
  • Package 8 (episodes 23-25) – March 2, 2022.

The series is already being broadcast in Japan Netflix will distribute it worldwide in autumn 2021 (October-December). In addition, Mashima publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha since June 2018. The work also inspires two video games developed by Konami, revealed during the event Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online in September 2020, with the former being described as a 3D action role-playing game for consoles and the latter being described as a role-playing game for smartphones.

  • Takanori Nishikawa plays the opening song titled “Eden through the Rough” while CHiCO with HoneyWorks leads the final topic with the title “Bouken no VLOG”.

EDENS ZERO Synopsis

Shiki’s life as the only person on the planet Granbell, a giant robotic amusement park, changes with the arrival of Rebecca and her cat Happy. After escaping together due to a robot riot, they embarked on an adventurous interstellar journey in search of Mother, a colossal female entity who knows the full truth about the mighty Shiki.
