The Majin Buu saga in Dragon Ball Z has reserved quite a few twists for fans, from transformations and mergers across the boundaries of the epic to enormous personality changes. The one who has changed the most during this narrative arc is Vegeta, who finally understood the meaning of family.

Since then, the Saiyan Prince has continued to grow at a rapid pace and the new series of DB super has put some of his attention on Vegeta’s change. The famous hero is indeed working hard to seek redress for all crimes committed in the past, some during the Majin Buu saga, when he decided to surrender to Babidi.

And this narrative arc was the protagonist of one of the most beautiful scenes in the oeuvre of Akira Toriyamawho in that Majin Vegeta hugs Trunks for the first time before making an extreme gesture: sacrifice. The artist In Hyuk Lee, famous for working with Marvel to illustrate some of the covers of the publisher’s most famous series such as Spider-Man, The Fantastic 4 and many others, has dedicated a graphic to this scene, just as you can see in Lime to the News that reinterprets this touching moment with its iconic style.

And you instead, what do you think of the hug between Vegeta and Trunks, but from the perspective of a Marvel artist? Let us know with a comment below.
