The first film by Dragon Ball Super instantly enlivened one of the most beloved figures in Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece, Broly. Through some sort of remake, the franchise has rewritten the personality of the legendary Super Saiyan, modernized by the retrograde and now outdated negative conception of the character.

The film by TOEI animation It was a box office hit, not so much for another feature film with Broly, but also for the excellent decision, and who knows if with an ulterior motive to change the characterization of Bardak and the legendary Super Saiyan himself. The film was so popular that it appears that the innovative character design of Naohiro Shintani is also intended to accompany Dragon Ball Super 2, the sequel to the much speculated anime.

The artist SoldTheWorld recently shared an illustration on Reddit depicting Broly in the style of several works, including the famous Naruto, Attack of the Giants and ONE PIECE. However, the illustrator went beyond the imaginary of anime and manga as he also reinterpreted the character with the distinctive trait of Spongebob and even Justice Leaguewithout forgetting the intoxicating design The Powerpuff Girls.
