Shenron can be said to be the real star of dragon ball, as the title of the work is dedicated to him, even if the dragon of the spheres gradually lost its importance in history after the first historical series.

Over the years, fans have learned all about the dragon and how it sees the people it grants wishes for. Now it seems so Shenron is gearing up for a big comeback. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero shared a first look at his take on the legend.

The update was spotted by DBHype overseas. Found the fan page a Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero promo featuring the dragon. This is the first time we see the dragon in the new anime style and it also confirms that Shenron will have something to do with the film.

As you can see below, the promo doesn’t make any drastic changes to Shenron as a whole. The dragon is still green, snake-shaped, and has a pair of red eyes. However, it is brought to life with some computer graphics. the The style matches everything we’ve seen from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero so far, but the question remains as to how Shenron fits into the film.

At the moment, production has confirmed that Goku and Vegeta will star in the film, but it appears that Gohan and Piccolo will star in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The Red Ribbon Army has returned from the grave, and the organization has two new androids on its side.

Clearly one Battle between the Red Ribbon Army and our Z Fighters is imminent, and Shenron could make things better or worse depending on who finds the Dragon Balls first, and even with Bulma’s tools at hand, Goku could lose to the Red Ribbon Army’s Orb Hunt.

For now we just have to wait for the big update of VJump on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. But in the meantime, what do you think of Shenron’s design? How do you think it will be used in the new Dragon Ball Super movie? Did you know that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero production started much earlier than we could think? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
