The platform Netflix released a promotional image for the fourth season of the animated adaptation of the franchise Castlevania. The premiere is planned for May 13th worldwide on the platform. The portal in a separate report Deadline informed that this will be the final season of this production, but assured that Netflix is considering producing a new series based on other rates in the franchise Castlevania, with a new cast of characters.

The first season premiered on the platform in July 2017 and contained four episodes. A second season with eight episodes and a third of ten episodes was then published in October 2018 and March 2020, respectively. Since this is a series produced in the USA, it is not considered an “anime” in the strict sense of the word..

Castlevania synopsis

When his wife is burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft, the vampire Count Dracula declares that all people in Wallachia will pay with their lives. Summons an army of demons to invade the land, causing people to live lives of fear and suspicion. To counteract this, the outcast monster hunter Trevor Belmont attacks Dracula’s forces with the support of the magician Sypha Belnades and Dracula’s dhampir son Alucard.
