In Dragon Ball Super 80 The clash between Granolah and Gas has come to a head. The two strongest warriors in the universe started a big fight with Goku and Vegeta who couldn’t help but stand by and watch. At one point in Dragon Ball Super 80, Granolah’s shots seem to lead him to victory, but Gas is loaded with resources.
The Heeter is actually taken over by the companion Elec, who Tear off the chain. After removing the artifact, Gas manages to unleash his true power, but loses control of himself. In a fit of rage, the Heeter knocks Granolah down, after which he angrily punches Vegeta. Goku comes to his rescue and his face makes it allow gas to escape.
This is because the criminal had one past clash with Bardock. Goku’s father would then fight with gas, traumatizing him greatly. Analysis of the Toyotaro table published on Twitter by @DBS Chronicleswe can see the Saiyan attack on Heeter, but the most attentive fans noticed a strange detail.
Bardock in the table is drawn without a tail. If the case were only in one illustration, one might think an oversight on Toyotaro’s part, but the Saiyan is drawn that way in all the tables in the chapter. We know for sure that Bardock had a tail at the time of his death, so the gas fight must have happened after that event.
Some believe that the tail’s absence can be attributed to that bad memory of gas, others that it’s part of a never-before-seen Bardock transformation. Its shape was compared to that of Broly Berserkersince the saiyan looks really angry as he attacks gas.
Toyotaro’s board of directors has kindled the hearts of fans hoping for Bardock Super Saiyan to become canon in Dragon Ball Super. Goku’s father then caught up a new shape during the fight with gas? We’ll just have to wait for Dragon Ball Super developments to find out.
That Bardock has NO TAIL here might not be a mistake in Toyo’s drawing part.
That may be because it’s part of Bardock’s transformation: lose your tail and control your Saiyan instincts while in humanoid form. Basically like Broly’s Rage form.
