In 2021, the MAPPA study was the focus of numerous controversies and discussions that arose due to the poor working conditions that the animators and staff were forced into. To date, those concerns seem to have eased thanks to the investment, which is also evident in the work for the final season of attack on Titan.
I hope to keep up with the work of Wit Studio, which has done a tremendous job in attracting and engaging viewers the incredible success of Hajime Isayama’s work, it was unthinkable, especially in the short time that MAPPA had in the administrative management of rights and obviously in the Production, forced to meet inhumane deadlines. However, after a rather criticized first part of the season, the final installment of the episode proves to be excellent in many ways.
Episode 4×19, the 78th of the entire series, was considered by many to be one of the best in animated transposition. But it doesn’t stop there. Season 4 has indeed made Attack on Titan the most-watched on-demand show in the world in 2021. An exceptional result that re-evaluates the decision of the MAPPA artists Use CG models to represent the Giants, initially discussed and viewed with skepticism by most fans.
Congratulations to the artists at MAPPA Studio on creating an implementation that has deservedly been acclaimed by fans and valuable for future productions to keep in mind, including the highly anticipated Chainsaw Man.
