Dragon Ball Super introduced Granolla, the mysterious “survivor” who gave the new saga its name. For the past few weeks, fans of the manga have been wondering what his role was and how the warrior will clash with Goku and his companions, however Chapter 67 seems to be going a very different route.

Although Molo was destroyed by the Goku Ultra Instinct attacks, it appears that Android 73 managed to survive the fatal blow, possibly due to some kind of regenerative power. After sending a signal to your creator, A galactic brigade appears to recover the remains and bring them back to Master Goichi, a kind of crime boss who wants to dominate the universe thanks to his multitude of androids.

Goichi can then download the data of his latest creation, and pass on all combat skills and techniques to the other androidsand makes them even stronger. But suddenly a space mercenary appears and KO the bandits with a non-lethal weapon. Granolla is therefore not the antagonistor at least not for now, as the only goal is to restore or destroy the original OG-73i.

First, the hypothesis of a mercenary or other galactic patrol is supported by the use of non-lethal weapons. Granolla limits himself to taking out his opponents without killing themand has only one goal. At the moment it only remains to be clarified why the warrior was looking for the original Android 73: That is, whether Goichi’s plans should be stopped by being destroyed once and for all or simply with the aim of delivering it to another antagonist. To find out the answer, we have to wait for Chapter 68.

In a recent interview, Toyotaro said that the new Dragon Ball Super saga will be surprising and the first part of the story looks promising. The date for the next release is set for January 20th, again at 5:00 p.m. on MangaPlus.
