The Japanese weekly newspaper Shukan Josei Prime recently awaited the possible arrival of a Live-action adaptation by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaibaand even revealed the names of some members of the cast. When asked by reporters from Otaku USA, the Shonen Jump people simply responded with a suspicious "no comment".

According to the Japanese magazine, the actress was born in 1999 Kanna Kishimoto (Kaguya Shinomiya in the live action of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) could play Nezuko Kamado while the actor and singer was born in 1990 Masaharu Fukuyama he was supposed to play the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado. Other performers are Gackt (Muzan Kibutsuji), Sho Hirano (Zenitsu Agatsuma) Ryo Yoshizawa (Inosuke Hashibira), Takeru Sato (Giyu Tomioka) e Satomi Ishihara (Shinobu Kocho).

Though these are just speculations It's strange that the Shueisha publishing house didn't contest the production of the live-action adaptation. Given the success of the Demon Slayer film and anime series, as well as the manga and the recent film adaptation, it is entirely possible that the work could be carried over into a television series or one or more feature films.

According to Otaku, the live action could be in the early stages of production so new information is unlikely to be released before the end of the year. We are waiting for more details on the live action and we remind you that the anime film Demon Slayer: Infinity Train will arrive in Italy in 2021.
