The twenty-third and final volume by Demon Slayer It will not include an epilogue as previously announced by Shueisha, but only some bonus illustrations and content will be cut during serialization. Confirmation came moments ago from Koyoharu Gotouge’s social account, which was forced to clear up the misunderstanding.
On November 25, Shueisha announced that the final volume, which was preprinted 3.95 million copies, would contain 39 pages of additional content, including a fourteen-page epilogue. The author stated that the fourteen-page epilogue will not be present in the final volumeand that the specific contents are those listed below.
- Two sections, each with eight and six pages, containing parts of the story from the serialization of the original work.
- Four pages with exclusive images.
- Eight pages with unspecified special content.
- Two pages of text that reveal the future of some characters.
- Eleven pages with sketches and works of art by Koyoharu Gotouge.
The mangaka has therefore confirmed the presence of thirty-nine pages of additional material, but only two of which are reserved for some kind of epilogue and most importantly We are talking about written text, with no illustrations of any kind. The remaining bonuses are more or less similar to those in the previous volumes.
