Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba gave fans the cutest scene of Nezuko Kamado in the anime after his fiercest fight yet. The second season of the anime has now reached the climax of the story arc red light district from the original manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge.
And he did it in style, having unleashed a surprisingly complete demonic transformation when Nezuko went berserk in Demon Slayer 2×13. But the latest installment in the series takes it all to the next level, offering fans a sweet little break within the season’s climax and giving Nezuko a sweet scene.
The last time we saw Nezuko in action, she was so angry after seeing how hurt Tanjiro was that he unleashed a new kind of power in his body. It evolved into a new demonic plane and seemed like it had lost control. When Tanjiro was finally able to calm her down, Nezuko’s body once again morphed into a much smaller version. It is a moment of tender brotherly affection, highlighted by this sweet transformation.
Episode 7 of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc was an exciting moment for Nezuko fans and showed how strong he can be in this demonic berserk state. We learned that from fighting Rui in Season 1 Nezuko can transform his body in amazing ways, but that looks very different as she seems pleased to see how much damage she has inflicted on Daki. Not only that, but he almost started attacking people when he smelled their blood.
It’s clear that’s what it was about a Nezuko who had completely lost control of himself, but luckily Tanjiro was able to calm her down. It took a fight that tested him mentally and emotionally, along with the physical exertion necessary to restrain a demon in a berserk state, and it was just as tough on Nezuko.
After it was all over, she couldn’t help but burst into tears once she recovered. As a result of all the stress on his body, it has shrunk to an even smaller size than we have ever seen. And the moments between her and Tanjiro that follow these events are very moving.
If on the one hand we can see a touching fraternal moment, on the other hand it is not possible to ignore the controversy caused by the design of Nezuko in a berserk state in the last few episodes of Demon Slayer 2. A Japanese side intervened in defense of the heroine of Demon Slayer, but not everyone agrees, like this professor who remembers the goal that Demon Slayer is aimed at.
What do you think? How have Nezuko’s transformations appeared to you in recent episodes? Enjoy the arch of the red light district? What are you hoping to see before the new season ends? We remind you that you can watch Demon Slayer 2 episodes on Crunchyroll.
