On the official page for the anime adaptation of the multimedia project by Square enix, Deep madnesswho will bear the title Deep madness: The lost child, the second promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere in Japan is scheduled for October 12th and reveals the information about the music themes, including:
- Konomi Suzuki will perform the opening theme titled “Inochi no Tomoshibi” while Kashitarou Itou will perform the final theme song entitled “Shinju-iro no Kakumei”.
the authors Norimitsu Kaihou (School-Live !, Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School: Future Arc / Despair Arc / Hope Arc) and Makoto fukami (Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, Psycho-Pass) were responsible for writing the story and concepts while the artist Etorouji Shiono started publishing the manga in the second issue of 2020 magazine Monthly big gangan. On the other hand, the game for smartphones for iOS and Android devices as well as for browsers was launched on July 2 in Japan in a trial version.

Synopsis too deep madness
The project takes place in a world that is haunted by the mysterious “Randolph Syndrome”, which causes sudden commas. At the same time, a huge underground kingdom called “Asylym” was discovered at the South Pole as the origin of the syndrome. In contrast to those on the surface, strange creatures inhabit there with previously unknown natural resources. To cure Randolph Syndrome (and get rich by plundering the creatures’ genetic data and underground resources), people set foot inside the asylum.
