Black clover is one of the most important titles in Weekly Shonen Jump’s current landscape, not so much because the manga has a large number of sales, but mostly because of an excellent TV adaptation that is the result of a great direction by director Tetsuya Yoshihara .
What is all in all the anime’s first season is about to end. that is, next March 30th. The staff promised a special event that day that could include the announcement of a new production such as an original feature film. Black Clover Director, Yoshihara, on the occasion of the release of the first home video box, given an interview to tell how the television series began:

Together with my team, we selected the most representative moments from the first three volumes to create the various scenes. Itsuko Takeda joined the project as a character designer and together we achieved what I think is a good result. We had staff working on an anime for the first time, but we also had great feedback from writer Yuki Tabata. Then the director adds:
“”After meeting the person in charge of the script, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, we decided to split the series into four seasons. From that moment on, I asked him to think of a way to have a balanced but attractive series of episodes, just enough to make viewers feel the need to watch the next episode immediately after completing the previous one.“”
Probably with 4 seasonsThe director intended to produce around 48 episodes, so with 12 episodes per season.
