DC Comics’ beloved zombie saga is coming to an end: it indeed is DCeased War of the Undead Gods is coming, an eight-issue limited series which depicts the final chapter of the epic created by screenwriter Tom Taylor and artist Trevor Hairsine.

Already a few weeks ago, Taylor was anticipating the arrival of the final chapter of DCeased, but the details were only revealed yesterday, with the release of a trailer from DC Comics that we report at the beginning of the article.

In DCeased: War of the Undead Gods, what began as a global threat will take on galactic proportions: as the Anti-Life Equation spreads through the cosmos, The DC Universe must rely on the mightiest of heroes survived the first series of DCeased.

The release of DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #1, which is slated for August 9, 2022 in the US, will be accompanied by numerous variant covers curated by Dan Mora, Francesco Mattina and Sun Khamunaki. The main cover of the issue was designed by Trevor Hairsine.

Below, along with the various announced covers, we also report on some preview pages of the first issue. However, before the DCeased finale, DC Comics will begin publishing its next major crossover event, Dark Crisis.
