Sui Ishida, author of Tokyo Ghoul, surprisingly the third chapter of Choujin X. released, his new dark fantasy manga released on MangaPlus on May 10th. The new chapter covers another 40 pages and shows the continuation of the adventures of Tokyo and Azuma.

The third chapter of Choujin X takes up the story from the conclusion of Chapter 1 with the protagonist Tokyo Kurohara, who tries to save his friend Azuma Higashi after being attacked by some criminals. In the last part of the first chapter, the two decided to do so Use syringes with liquid in them to become choujin in order to survive attack from thugs, and the story ended with Tokyo turning into some kind of human vulture, destroying its opponents with a single blow.

Azuma wakes up when Tokyo tries to take him to the hospital. and sees his friend in Choujin. transformed. The protagonist tells his friend that he is feeling a lot stronger, but Azuma gets mad at him and tells him to go home and hide until he is able to control his own body. The next morning, Tokyo hides from his family so as not to reveal its new and fearsome looks, and tries to contact Azuma, who does not respond.

Scared at the thought of not being able to become human again, Tokyo pretends to be sick to skip school, and in the evening he leaves the house wearing a long scarf and coat to hide his appearance. When they reach Azuma’s house, the two discuss what to do and just find out Tokyo was wrapped up because it was the shape it wanted.

Meanwhile, a man named Johnny Takeyama interrogates the thug who attacked Azuma and Tokyo in an abandoned house. asks him what happened to the other two cans that were delivered to him. The man owns the syringes and is ready to do anything to get them back. The criminal just says he remembers two boys, and this one turned into a choujin with a beak and a mask. Satisfied, Takeyama tears the criminal to pieces and sets off in search of Tokyo.

Choujin X is an irregularly published manga, so at the moment we don’t know when the fourth chapter will be published. The first three publications are available in English on MangaPlus.
