Chainsaw Man is a high-level Shonen manga, but a bit for the absurd premise of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s story, a bit for the general chaos that permeates the boards of the manga, it is not always completely understandable what happens, especially in the more advanced stages of the story.
The MAPPA anime recently appeared in the first official trailer, and as we all know, the animation studio doesn’t make any cuts or simplifications. So what’s the best way to have fun at work? Get the manga and wait for the anime? Or immerse yourself directly in the story with the MAPPA adaptation? The answer comes from director Ryu Nakamura.
“It is a great honor for me to direct this series“said the director,”Chainsaw Man is a work that holds a special place in my heart. Whether you are a fan of the manga or an anime viewer, I can assure you I will do my best to create a story that everyone can enjoy equally“. In Chainsaw Man, tempo and direction are absolutely central, as it is very easy to get lost in Fujimoto’s absurd imagery. and luckily, Nakamura has a very respectable background, although he has not yet earned the title of industry veteran.
The anime Chainsaw Man will debut in 2021, likely in the fall, while the manga is currently on hiatus and will return in the future with the second part. Author Tatsuki Fujimoto announced that in addition to Part 2, he is also doing a new one-shot that will be released on July 19th.
And what do you think? Have you read the Chainsaw Man Manga yet? Or are you waiting for the MAPPA anime? Let us know in the comments!
