On the official website of the television anime A couple of cuckoos A new PV teaser has been shared, highlighting the wonderful closing theme of Sangatsu no Phantasia. The series, based on Miki Yoshikawa’s romcom manga, will debut on Crunchyroll in April.

Some time after the first trailer for A Couple of Cuckoos, the staff working on the anime series released a new one promotional clip. This presents the ending “Shikaku Unmei” (Square Destiny) from Sangatsu no Phantasia and reveals the official date of the premiere, the April 23rd. The Yoshikawa series will therefore arrive a few weeks after one of the most anticipated by the community. The Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 trailer featured unreleased characters.

A pair of cuckoos will come Crunchyroll simulcast. Nagi Umino is a 16-year-old student who was mistakenly swapped at birth. When she first meets her birth parents, she meets Erika Amano, an outspoken and sassy girl who is determined to make Nagi her fake boyfriend. When he gets to his real parents, he discovers a very strange, ironic truth.

The anime was born from joint production by Shinei Animation and Synergy SP, directed by Hiroaki Akagi and Yoshiyuki Shirahata. The opening theme “Dekoboko” is performed by Kiyoe Yoshioka, lead singer of Ikimono Gakari, a band known for “Blue Bird” from “Naruto” and “Baku” from “Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations”.
