After a year and a half of waiting, Tatsuki Fujimoto finally released the first chapter of the second part of Chainsaw Man in July. The manga was highly anticipated and this return was met with acclaim from audiences, as evidenced by visits to MangaPlus and Shonen to Jump+. But there is another project that will be even more bombastic.
It’s actually about to arrive the Chainsaw Man anime. This was also announced a year and a half ago, at the same time as the closure of the first part of the manga on Weekly Shonen Jump. After the first trailer and some posters, it was time to see the Chainsaw Man trailer with the characters’ voices. Action, lots of blood, rousing music, adrenaline. There are so many things in this video and details that opera fans will surely have recognized.
but as the mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto took it, author of Chainsaw Man? The author’s comment was very brief, saying “Good with a lot of blood”. A very succinct comment but which perfectly sums up the trailer published a few hours ago by Studio MAPPA on its channel. Now all that’s left to do is wait for October 2022 and then tune in to the streaming platforms and see what the final rendition of Chainsaw Man will be like.
