At the end of the fight with Isshiki, Naruto Uzumaki is exhausted and has no more energy to use the spectacular Baryon mode. The fight is not over yet, however. Another Otsutsuki took over the body from Boruto to give the coup de grace to the ninja of the leaf.
During chapter 54 of the manga, now directed by Masashi Kishimoto, Boruto and Kawaki are the protagonists of a furious duel to the death. When his son and his "adopted godson" collide, Naruto finds himself again unconscious on the ground. When Sasuke watches him, he realizes that something is wrong with him. Konoha's hero would never let the two go free to fight.
Despite its joke, the Uchiha doesn't know what's really going on. Kurama had previously warned Naruto that the two were using baryon mode they would sacrifice themselves and apparently this tragic event is really happening.
With the fight between Boruto and Kawaki, Sasuke is unable to Take the group back to Konoha, but if the Seventh Hokage doesn't get to Sakura soon, fans will most likely be forced to say hello. What do you think, will Naruto really meet his fate? This way, Sasuke can avoid losing his most powerful weapon in Boruto.
