The school festival was stormed in Boruto 268. The Academy boys couldn’t perform in their play because it was attacked. However, the accident is only a cover for Attempt on Kae’s life, chosen to take the nearby throne of Bamboo Land. Who is attacking his life?

Kawaki twice allowed Kae’s killer to escape, neither did he inform his superiors of what was discovered. Because of this, Boruto 269 will come suspended from the mission by the Seventh Hokage personally, who however suspects that there is something that Kawaki does not want to reveal.
