The members of the Dark Triad are actually three: Dante, Vanica, and Zenon. The three Zogratis have now conquered the kingdom of swords and are using it for their own purposes, bringing Qliphoth to earth and eliminating all weak. Obviously me Black Clover protagonists cannot allow such a thing.
However, the Dark Triad has already inflicted a heavy defeat on the members of the Clover Kingdom, and it is now for that managed to start the ritual. In the meantime, the magical knights have recovered and started a new battle: Yuno faces Zenon while Vanica faces Lill and Charlotte.
That final battle was the scene from Black Clover 277, which was published in Weekly Shonen Jump almost two weeks ago. But now it’s the turn of the new chapter Black Clover 278, which shows up in the first spoilers. Vanica can’t figure out what just happened because Charlotte’s power seems to have had an effect.
As before, after a few pages there is a new scene change that goes over to Dante’s clash with Nacht and Jack. The fight begins and this time it’s up to Jack to unleash an unprecedented spell that gets the enemy into trouble. Black Clover 278 will officially be released on MangaPlus in English and Spanish on Sunday 17th January.
