The latest edition of Akita Shoten’s weekly newspaper Weekly Shonen Champion revealed that Baki, son of the ogre, the third season of the anime from TMS Entertainment available exclusively on Netflix, will debut worldwide in fall 2021. The exit window had been anticipated by some insiders a few days ago, but it is now official.
Baki the claw is a manga by Keisuke Itagaki, the renowned author and father of the equally famous Paru Itagaki, the young writer of Beastars. Keisuke Itagaki’s series has received several adaptations, and TMS Entertainment produced the latest exclusively for Netflix. At the moment the streaming site has released two seasons of 26 and 13 episodes, respectively, and now we finally know when the third will be released.
Aside from the trailer and the release window, the latest issue of Weekly has Shonen Champion too launched a contest to celebrate the manga’s thirtieth anniversarywhich will take place in September. Starting now through August 31st, fans can enter a competition by logging in to the official website and submitting fan art, cosplay photos, videos, or other original content for prizes in return.
