Episode 4×27 of attack on Titanthe penultimate of the acclaimed Final Season produced by the MAPPA studio was marked by a series of fundamental events related to the plan of the protagonists aimed at stopping the advance of Rumbling and full of action with one of the most spectacular works .
L’Escalation of the series signed by Hajime Isayama, and brilliantly realized first by WiT Studio and now by MAPPA, has led to dramatic developments, with violent and gory combat and clashes, many of which have been masterfully and spectacularly adapted. From this point of view, the last season in particular is surprising again and again, since after the 4×19 episode considered by many to be the best, the penultimate one entitled “Retrospective” attracted attention with two extraordinary sequences.
The first concerns the clash between protagonists and jaegerists, with the participation of Annie and Reiner in their respective Giant forms, and above all the brutal and frenetic scene where Mikasa commits a massacre and then stands still in the bloody rain of his old allies. A succession of rapid air movements, cuts and wounds that show incredible precision and technique, only matched by Mikasa and maybe Levi.
The second sequence instead concerns Falco’s entry onto the battlefield as a Giant Jaw. Alongside the surprise of seeing his version of the giant for the first time, there is the spectacularity of the scene shortly thereafter as Floch, having managed to overpower the boy, attempts to blow up the ship with one last flash before he is hit by the infallible Gabi. Embellishing these moments was also the choice of great soundtrack. It’s difficult to pinpoint which is the best fight sequence in the series, so we want to know what you think.
