there second part of the attack of the giants 4 explained how Zeke Yeager finally survived his suicide attack on Levi Ackerman with the new episode of the series. The first part of the fourth and last season left the events last year with huge cliffhangers.
Not only Eren Jaeger he intended to face both Eldia and Marley with its power, but the fate of some of the most popular characters like Levi had been left open. Zeke’s choice seemed like a final end, but we quickly saw that, much to his surprise, he managed to survive.
The last time we saw Zeke, he had been placed in a giant’s open stomach. With the return of the fourth and final season, this has been confirmed Zeke truly survived after being hit squarely in the face with a Thunder Lance.
And from what we’ve seen, it appears that part of Zeke’s survival is down to the Power of the Founder Giant and Paths who have been mentioned frequently throughout the series. In fact, Episode 76 of Attack of the Giants begins with an update on how Levi and Zeke are doing after their clash a few episodes earlier.
That is confirmed Levi is in a very serious condition, Zeke is fully healed instead. We see a smoking giant skeleton (believed to be the giant who hid Zeke in his body) and Zeke comes out fully healed. He himself is surprised that he was able to recover so quickly from such a critical condition, but he remembers seeing the paths.
And not only that, he reveals that he has it saw a young girl in the paths who seems to have remodeled his body thanks to the local soil. He also claims that it seemed to him that a single moment and an eternity had passed simultaneously within this indefinite space. He wonders if the place he actually went was the Seniteri or not, which also raises some questions from viewers.
What can we expect from these paths from the rest of the series? It’s also odd to see that the power of giants has come to save him and fully rebuild his body to what it is unlike the type of “automatic” regeneration that holders of giant powers have already shown in the series.
